Wow – These are the ultimate Chucks for some Chuckers – decaying, grungy, beat up, with holes, never washed , wildly aromatic (actually stinking), and stuffed with sweaty socks – Chucks and socks all loaded with the owner’s DNA. These I’m guessing are treasures that will never see a trash can. I’m working on a pair. Takes time and effort.
A non-Chucker cringes and says, “How can you lace on those yukky disasters?” The owner answers, “To destroy these reds would destroy a part of me.”

Yes, I´m sure you´re right! These reds are a part of the life of a 19 year old girl, who just took them off to jump into a lake. She was amused about this picture and didn´t immediately follow me, when I insisted to declare her "yukky disasters" as beautiful.
