rigaer 84 was on fire almost exactly ten years ago - so tragic to see this happening again. i feel sad to see all the shocked faces of people who lived there and are now homeless.

the people who set the roof on fire in 1997 were never caught, but the house changed ownership soon afterwards.

the new owner said that he was told: "this house is empty" and wanted to invest a lot of money in it. in the years that followed until now the 84-people successfully resisted plans that would have made their rents unpayable... until now i say...
